To be quite honest Andy I can't see any buckling at all. The car drives fine, no steering shake at all.

When I had some new tyres fitted last week I asked them to check the wheel after my argument with the kerb and they said its "slightly buckled".

This thread arose because I asked on the main forum whether I should bother going to WIM for wheel alignment while I have a "buckled" wheel, now I come to think about it no-one actually answered that question it was just suggested that I look for a replacement wheel here.

Perhaps I should just email WIM and see what they say. What do you think?

Are there no proper alloy wheel specialists local to you for a 2nd opinion? When I buckled a X-spoke alloy on my Senator, there was no doubt it was buckled. Spinning it on a large bearing with a clock/dti on it just confirmed it was.  :'(
