Facelift 2.5 Elite breaking for parts.
« on: 19 August 2011, 07:10:43 »

As above.Colour is z20H Blue (Nocturno ?)
Im planning on keeping the wheels, but most other parts are available.
Headlights and exhaust and are spoken for at present.
Cloth seats in grey with memory £50.
Engine - only done 75,000 miles. Lifters have a very slight tap until warmed up, otherwise runs fine,I will put some wynns lifter treatment in over the weekend and that may cure the slight tapping.Cambelt was changed at 40,000 miles but that was 8 years ago, so it needs doing. - £150.
Headlamp washer jets, with tank, pipework, pump, relay etc - kit to convert your car if it doesnt already have washers £50
Will add other parts and prices later.
Any parts required - just ask.

I could do with the nearside door mirror, (just need the casing, but obviously would buy the full mirror), please send a price posted. It would save me a spraying job.

Hi
I've just posted a wanted post then saw this post. I'm looking for a replacement Bose door speaker. My Omega is a faceleift elite estate.  The speaker has a Bose label with
233 080A Woofer 150mm SQ 2 ohm

Hoping to get one in the next week before my son takes the car on holiday?

Thanks Pat

Update on the engine.First time I started it up the lifters were very slightly tappy. It hadnt been started for quite a while.
I have started it up several times since and it is very quiet and smooth.Even Mrs A (who has no interest in these things whatsoever) walked past when it was running and said "that sounds really quiet and smooth". :)
