I just put 40 quid in at a time, which registers as about 200 miles
i don't do many miles ,i don't see the point in filling the tank
(it could get robbed, leak) ,plus I'd be carrying the weight of fuel for weeks and the fuel gets changed ,not left for a month ,going stale .

install a return spring under the GO pedal to counteract the weight of tour lead footwear  :y

To be honest I can't take too much credit for a leaden right foot. The battery was off the car for charging a few weeks ago so zeroed the computer and it's only been used for short[sub 5ml]trips since then. :y Unless I'm going for a day out then I only put enough fuel in it to last me for the week.If going for a day out I put in what I figure it'll take for the round trip plus a bit over just in case.

Cost me £71 to fill 3.2 this morning, done about 260 miles, but no doubt TB will say I was not trying hard enough.  :D

I fill mine once \ month normally. Costs 70 odd quid, and has returned 24.1 mpg over the last 1600 miles.

Often get 420 from my daily 3.2 on Scotland trips... but then I travel at silly hours of the night and am generally on cruise for the vast majority of the journey. Unfortunate commutes when I have to go to the office etc see around 320 a tank.

The other two generally get driven properly (ie not for work!) so don't get anywhere near those figures!

So I've spent a couple of days freezing my nuts off between downpours to give the Omega some love ready for it's MOT
cleaned up and treated all underneath ,had the sill covers off,I still have full sills  ;D
painted and greased etc etc (still have to treat the insides of chassis rails, sills etc ,but did not want it dripping out on Mr MOT's roller brake tester or say i had leaks  ;D)
supertrol the doors etc etc
checked everything over ready for mot, fitted a couple of new bulbs (n/s fog and reverse)
how does the omega repay me for all the "love".....

flat battery ,needed to jump it   :'(
I may have had ALL the lights on  ;D a bit too long
have a spare newish 096 battery if i need to  :y

took it for MOT today , no advisories (or what ever they are called now)
perfect emissions ,even with the tester's fancy new tester rig (which has a dongle
which plugs into the OBD diagnostic port ,never seen that before)
Now the thirsty tart is flashing range 20 ,demanding more petrol  :P
