I believe so, but he's looked at ending it, but can't without significant penalties, as I had suggested that. Not clear exactly why, or if it is a lease/pcp etc.
The fact that a car is leased/pcp/HP has no bearing on a consumer's right to reject the car under the consumer rights act 2015. If it's more than 30days old, but less then Merc has one chance to fix the car
in a reasonable time period and then the consumer has the right to either claim a replacement, or throw it back.
The BMW I rejected was owned by BMW finance UK ltd. I was the registered keeper, which isn't so with a lease car (I've never seen the gold's v5 for instance) but the process is basically the same.
If, however, the car was leased by TB Bro UK Ltd. Then it's a whole different ball game as B2B is not the same as B2C.
