« on: 13 July 2006, 13:17:06 »

Some real nice t**t decided to reverse into my grill in spasda carpark last month, smahing my irmy grill and driving off!!! Grrrrrrr

Anyway, not wanting to use a standard chip cutter grill from vauxhall I have just taken delivery of this.......

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VAUXHALL-OMEGA-B-Sport-Grill-NEW_W0QQitemZ330004904631QQihZ014QQcategoryZ43118QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Must say, worth every penny......they are made of steel and have an excellent finish......should get the time this weekend to fix it. Will do some before after pix once I get round to it 8-)

Had mine for close on a year now, you will need to bend/ pack out the fixing points so it sits flush with the edge of the bonnet. :)

count yourself lucky, i don't even have that!

there is a nice immy grill, crome edge like current one, square black lines (like pre-facelift immys) with a chrome "i" Logo, but at £160 far to expensive!

Watch Ebay - no difference with wing spoilers between pre and facelift

I can't make up my mind on bodykit - I've looked at Irmscher stuff but it's well pricey and I'm not sure I'd be able to stop myself if I started. It's like getting tattoos or something.

I think the facelift is a good looking car, its certianly grown on my recently and I really like it now. There are limited parts for the Omega's please don't fit aftermarket body kits, really don't look nice.

I think exterior wise, I won't be doing any mods.

A spoiler sets it off perfectly

Lip or the curved larger one?

I did think about it, but not sure about the lip spoiler with CD alloys, looks nice on Elites with the nice chunky alloys

hi all,

Quick question on topic, i have a t reg 2.5 elite, but i have a slatted grill, i thought that that mine would have came with a Irmscher grill as standard ?, it has the real lip spoiler, has it maybe been changed at one point ? tbh i really prefer the irmscher grill or even the one above posted by Boss.

would the grill posted by boss fit fine on the mini facelift ? thanks.

I've seen a slatted grille for the facelift on fleabay, that's about it ... but that's around the £70 mark - twice the price of the above one for a pre-facelift. And I don't think it looks as good either!
