Spottted in a scrappie near me section
« on: 02 January 2009, 13:43:02 »

Having seen loads rust free miggies in breakers with imaculate panels and interiors go off for crushing, would it be possible to have a spotted section to alert owners of what is knocking about, possibly with contact details of the yards.

Seems a shame that the door/ bonnet/door card you need in the right colour is about to get binned when it could be useful but you dont know it is there.

Lets face it they rust like hell and spraywork is expensive!

Just a thought

It's a nice thought, though i feel the posts will be few & far between & with the turn around Scrappers have, by the time the threads read the car will be long gone :(

Thats my view - our local scrappy doesn't keep cars long.

Surly a 'Heads up' in general chat would cover this. :)
