After all the screaming & yelling had died down I found, our dog & the girls in the family at the top of the garden.
That dog is crafty bugger & wouldn`t stop wimpering until one of the girls had picked him up 
I admit a tad on the large side for a moth, but quite a beauty.

Pulled into my usual haunt at Langestone harbour today to scoff my sarnies.

Only to find a lady on her hands & knees, with dust pan & brush in hand sweeping up the public slip-way 
At first I thought maybe all the black sacks she`s filling with dead weed etc might be used on her garden or summat  but no she filled about 10 bags worth & then I noticed about 6 more bags placed  by the rubbish bin.
She was havin a right old barney with her self too, she didn`t stop yapping once.
The swans were looking at each other WTF.

I either left my car unlocked (more likely) or someone defeated the locking mechanism & let themselves in.
Listen in as scruffy throws the contents of my glove box onto the floor &  a folder of paperwork onto the back seat.
At one point he actually blurts out his own name.
He was looking for something to thief or maybe the spare key.
He didn`t find much , but nicked my gloves that were lying on the passenger seat

Difficult to clarify this still shot from my dashcam footage from the other night.
It`s minus 1 degree C ouside & I`m travelling about 33 mph according to my speedo, in a 30 mph road.
That`s actually two officers at the side of the road & one is pointing a hand held device at my car.  Note he`s pointing it from waist height.

I can`t believe it`s anything other then a money collection device  but what type.

General Discussion Area / Rare sight for me

I was in my ususal lunchtime spot overlooking Langstone harbour today.
I couldn`t believe what I was watching, not sure if it`s that rare to be honest
Anyway a a kingfisher flashed past me & flew out to sea about 25 metres or see at wave height.
The water was calm & half tide & He was heading out to shallows near an exposed mud bank.
Several stoops later he had something & flew back past me into a small copse. I always assumed they fished on fresh water    not anymore

I get a call from my works manager, he`s looking  out his office window at a small group of blokes wondering down towards the building we`re about to leave.  "Clock the big dude in the peach coloured womens blouse & flip flops"  , one of the girls with us thinks he looks evil. Three out of the four are pulling suitcases along behind them & walking up the side driveway to a now locked rear car park & storage area.
They look up  the razor wire topping the gates & adjoining fences & then turn around & walk back out onto the access road & wonder off into the night. They look completely out of place & scruffy as hell.

Omega General Help / Finally managed to do it

After 5 years of ownership, I locked the keys in the boot.
For some reason I figured I`ll keep the spare key zipped up in my work bag
Bad idea that was in the boot as well. The doors were not dead locked.
So walked away from the car ranting after work yesterday afternoon & overnight decided to order a key blade from the Vaux main dealer with my car pass ASAP
Got into work this morning & a fellow worker has the rear passenger door unlocked & it`s all been sorted for me. I won`t go into details on here, but no damage was incurred.
What fooled me a tad was the boot release button on the dash in my 2003 FL ceases to work with the alarm tripped. Makes sense I suppose, so resorted to the manual release in the back.
What do other members do with their spare key. hide it on the car somewhere maybe.

at the top of Langstone, usually share my lunch with the swans here if I`m passing
Some of the breeding pairs became swan dinners for the pikeys about 6 years ago
Just started to see their numbers increase slightly
