Safestyle windows 0800 106 107
Lombard Direct 0800 2 15000
Washing machines live longer with colgate...
It doesn't have to make sense; it just has to stick in your grey matter. Which sadly, given how shit it is, it clearly has. :-\

I love the way they have to be PC, for fear of upsetting the gay, lesbian, black, disabled, ugly society. If we are advertising something that families definitely can't do without, the couples have to be: two gay men (they usually have a snog so as to leave us in no doubt), a black or asian and white couple, two gay women and, finally, the odd-one-out, a man and woman, same colour, where the man is at least twenty years older than the woman...just like in the fifties.

The advertising standards authority have had more complaints about that series of ads than all other TV ads put together.
Nothing will happen though. Its progressive you see.
Personally, it makes my fickin skin crawl.

The only people that they can offend with impunity are the normal straight white indiginous population. Where the hell can WE go to report abuse?
Ron.

Wouldn,t go to money supershit.com or whatever it,s called because of that sleazy ad. >:(

Same here. I have a list of companies I try to avoid for similar reasons. Anything using the Virgin brand is top of the list, due to the fact that I despise Branson with a passion.

Im afraid we moved into the Gay Shit on TV years ago, seems we cant get a couple hours of TV without some form of "Equal Rights" being rammed down our throats, so much so, and especially with social media now, it would appear that the younger generation are coming "out of the closet" from the age of 10+ these days without it being questionable by their family or friends, I'll leave you to draw your own conclusions as to whether that is correct or not.
Me, yes Im a straight bloke, and no, Im not Homophobic (much), live and let live, and all that sort of stuff, but I cant help thinking now that everything is an easy cop out these days without any guidance to the reasons. :-\

Moneysupermarket and the 118 118 adverts. Both always irritate the hell out of me, as do most adverts
Most not all . . . . .
The recent M&M one when a bloke comes home to find his wife in bed with an M&M and says You were going to eat hime without me weren't you, almost always get a chuckle from me

Advertising is an art form, and there are quite a few really good ones out there. But there are also a lot of inane, dull and downright offensive ones.

I took it they were remaking history with the village people (a 1970's band??)

Banned adverts are far more entertaining than the crap foisted on us every twelve minutes...
