Self-levelling Xenon question :-)
« on: 23 November 2010, 20:36:09 »

The o/s/r Xenon headlamp self-levelling lever, on the rear wishbone, can anyone tell me if Vauxhall sell this as a separate component?

I am told that saloon and estate are different lengths, and I've been given the job of finding one! If Vx don't do them, will post a suitable ad in the wanted section.

To reiterate, its the vertical arm with a ball joint, which connects to a fitting on the rear wishbone. Thanks, in advance fellow oofers!  :)

That's for your suspension. Headlamp levelling is via the sensors on the near side - front & back

If it is the levelling sensor your after then it is only available from your Vauxhall dealer as a complete unit. One at the front and one at the rear. I think each one is different.

You cannot get the individual components, eg arms, sensor, brackets etc.

They are not cheap! Last one I bought was around £55+

Thanks for that..

Apologies, re-read the post, it is, in fact the NEARside rear wishbone, not offside as previously stated. I was picturing the self-leveller.

I think that answers my question, vauxhall aren't going to let me have one for peanuts!

Thanks boys  :y

IIRC Lizzie Z bought a new one recently, Vx had changed the design & the loom connection and the price had gone by LOTS to over £100  :o :o
