Seized engine
« on: 18 August 2014, 18:40:50 »

Hi all, my works van which is   2.5 diesel Citroen Relay engine has seized due to lack of oil. ( yes I know I am an idiot for allowing this )
Replacing the engine is not financially viable, so my train of thought is hopefully the problem is the crank shaft so for the cost of new shells and cleaning up the journals it might be worth a go. so any advice or opinions would be greatfully appreciated especially from anyone that has had experience working on this particular engine.

TIA
Tony
