Looks very nice, but at the estimated price it needs to be.

No pictures of the rear arches then .....  ::) ::)

Good looking car until the bonnet is opened
Arches look good when you hover over the rear image

That's not a gadget. It enables you to see exactly what speed your doing at a very quick glance. :)

I had one just like that back in 1992, and it was in far better nick than that one, yes I know that was 26 years ago!

But, as a "classic" looking for £3K+, the engine bay is filthy, the interior with replacement radio, scratches across ash tray, and badly damaged storage nets behind front seat, polished out rear badges, and I think I can see evidence of 'bubbling' around the wheel arches that are so familiar to me (that is why I parted company with mine in 1997!)makes me think no way we I pay even £500 for that, let alone £3K+.

Front looks good, but thereafter not good at all!! I wonder what a look underneath would reveal! ::) ::)

So did I.  If I remember correctly later Senators stopped being fitted with digital ones after complaints about people suffering medical problems; like fits I think?

Never heard about possible medical problems, but other Vauxhalls of the era had or had the option of digital. Senators were originally digital with the option of normal analogue clocks, from about 1992 they switched it about. My K reg 92 would have had its digital dash as an option.

If this is the case I'm guessing epilepsy.

but as above, Vx did still fit the digital dash in the last of the Senators but as an option instead of standard.

There are plenty of new cars on the road that have digital speedo displays

Yes, I believe now that was the case.  I know it was a news item at the time, and it was then that the digital display was only an option. Remember also the Omega that came out of the Senator / Carlton all had old fashioned speedo displays throughout the range until the end.

Now of course it is common, but then some found it to be a problem.  I suppose the march of progress has eradicated the problems / doubters?

Strobe lighting at a disco could cause a fit.
