Planned to take MrsT’s Zafia Tourer to Wales to visit the in-laws this Easter, washed the car, vacuumed it, loaded the it, luggage kids etc. Go to start it, hummmm a miss-fire. If cleared on a restart, but decided not to risk it. First time it’s given us an issue.

Not to bother, unload and all piled in my BMW 435i, we could all fit which was great. Vindicated my choice to go for this over a m235i 2 door I was considering.

Had a much nicer drive, normally have little to no power in the 1.4T. But 3.0 in the beemer and 300+ horses, yes please!

That said the Zafira is well suited to the school run. (With that power) Which is where it may stay.

Might have to use the BMW more often  for the Welsh runs :D
Would imagine that the fuel bill was a tad higher.  ;)

Why the hell do manufacturers put puny engines into bigger and bigger cars? Ford stick a 1 litre engine in a Mundano for gods sake.  ::)

Is it me, or is the edge of the tyre / rim on the first photo unusually close to, or even in contact with  the front strut?
Sure does.  :)

Horse boxes doing 30mph in a NS limit zone, and the slow coach driver behind it too afraid to overtake it, causing long tailbacks.
If the equestrian type can afford over £100K for a flash horse box, why can’t they afford a few ratchet straps to secure the horse in the back so they can drive a bit faster.   :)  ::)
nail the horses hoofs to the deck  ;)
Make burgers from the pointless creatures.

Our local riding centre has taken to riding the horses through the housing estate, presumably because the fields are wet.  So every road is now like a dirty farm track, and if your do meet one, due to all the traffic calming, you have no chance to get by.

Plenty of free muck for the tomatoes though!  :y   ;D
Don't put it straight on though.  ;)

I personally think the 2.8i MkII is the pick of the bunch, and certainly the one I would prefer if I wanted a Grandad,. In the obligatory gay Gold ;D
Mine was a glorious Regency green.  8)

Put in a puddle that was a lot longer and a lot deeper than I anticipated ;D, no harm done :0

Then followed some tosser on the M40 for 15 miles who wouldn't move from the inside lane.  Out of principle I refused undertake, though many others did.  Knobjockey.  Merc ragtop, so to be expected in these parts.
Driving back from Newmarket on A14 this afternoon and there was a car hogging the outside lane. Nothing in front or beside him/her. They almost shit themselves when a Jag roared up behind them and blasted his horn.  ;D

If I have fibre installed, they'll have to dig under my garden wall, through a flower bed, dig a trench across the drive and through another flower bed to the house.  :-\

Had they put the connection point a meter up the pavement they could have gone through the gateway avoiding the wall and flower bed.  ::)

Frickin jackasses!  :-X
Since when have the utility companies ever used logic when laying pipes/cables etc.?  ;)

Seemingly the asylum seekers lawyers tell them that converting gives them a better chance of it being granted.
