DTM will be having flashbacks to the front spring saga, and the split boot saga from this time last year ;D

Albsheimers is clearly contagious!

Oh the joy.....I have changed my mobile number by the way.

And my address....
And your place of work. And which heritage line you volunteer for ;D

For those unfamiliar with my "senior moment" at the time, there was jack all wrong with the springs, and I bought the wrong boot, convinced I had the right one ;D

Still, that DTM fella changed it all anyway, with a (forced) smile on his face.  It wasn't until the intake dramas a month or 2 later I heard him mutter "I hate your bloody car" ;D

Started her up after 7 weeks of cold soaking outside in all you lot have had thrown at you. Massive misfire for about 30 seconds then settled down to run as sweat as a nut :)

Handbrake had been left off so as not to corrode on, but when applied made a few "spring unhappy" noises ... 10-15 on/off cycles appear to have sorted it, but might need to strip and clean the drums ... if when it ever warms up !! Not at all happy with all this white stuff on the ground first thing in the mornings !!

One tyre down 5 psi, so possibly a very slow leak from a rim.

Seemed to pull to the left for the first 2-3 miles, but then settled down to normal "dead straight with the hands off" behaviour.

So, all in all, I reckon she done well, as reliable as always ..  :y :y

Went to start Omega after 6 weeks sitting and the starter was stuck, a bang with a hammer and all was fine again.

Removed engine and box from my Manta, so I can get the box off for a rebuild.

National Speeding Awareness Course.  :y
Interesting, aren’t they?  ::)
I enjoyed mine. We sat in tables of ten or so, the youngsters had little to say, and the ladies coud not wait for the interval to nip out for a smoke. We have lots of 20 limits in Somerset, and my aged chums are all getting caught.
