i think they had been made, i just dont think they had worked out how to make them fly  :-/ :D

We had 3 train stations, alas now we have none.

Makes you realise how fast we're building houses There's a couple of dozen of them in our village on those maps. Now there are hundreds (and another 200 about to be built) ::)

Fascinating.

Yup.

Look for the town of Glenrothes on TB's map, then look on the other one....

Glenrothes is one of the 'new towns' that were designed to take care of inner city depravation and overspill.  I think Milton Keynes is another example of the same....

Onwards and upwards in the concrete jungle.....   :D

Despite only having a few dozen houses we had a station then too. Can't justify it nowadays though (other than for steam train rides).

In all fairness to MK, the 'grid' system, with roundabouts at every intersection, does work really well for traffic flow.

Mullers the brakes though. Apparently ::)
