He mentions that there are Charities that help....
Yet they were offering 6 councilling days.. but he has being paying once a week for 3 years...

I did wonder how you would start a fund up to help people like him

Yes.
It was out of range of his rifle... shot the first, bullet took 6 seconds to travel.... then there was another to the side so made one shot then another 3 seconds later....

The poor guy has massive issues....

Wow.... I have just watched an interview of Craig Harrison done by a Scots guy named James English on YouTube.

It is the best interview I think I have ever seen.

Craig Harrison was a British Sniper and killed a Taliban at 2475 metres....

It is really worth a watch

Merry New Year's Eve to you all :)

I am good Andy thanks.
Hope your all well too xx

Blimey, the wanderer returns.

Great to hear from you again DLK, glad the bike didn't quite kill you.

I share you sentiments about bikes - I'll not have another since losing the ZX10. Though I really miss them, to the point I have to cross the road when I walk past the bike shop in town, just so I'm not tempted.  But my old bones can't take too much more abuse, and my shoulder still hurts on cold days from the last I ended up kissing the tarmac...   ...and that was well over 15 years ago.

Anyway, Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year :y

Good to hear from you mate. Hope your both well ❤

It is sad because bike are wonderful things...

Have a lovely New Year

Daz xx

Oh Gawd he,s back. :o

How are you, ya ode ficker ?  :P :)
Long time no hear / see. Still riding the old Blunderbus ?

Its Albs by the way, in case you didnt know.  :y

Hey up Albs.. mate I am so sorry I have lost yours and so many phone numbers  :(

The Fizzy nearly killed me!! So she went for scrap....

Went out on a gorgeous Sunday morning a few years ago.. went to Llangollen, then headed for Barmouth. Not sure exactly why I came off to be fair. I was going but not hard enough to make this beautiful huge sweeping bend... the back wheel stepped out to the right so I steered in... seemed to right itself so though must have been oil or something, so carried on then the back end came around on my right this time the back was sort of overtaking the back. There was a sort of fence then a beautiful green field I assumed I was going into.... so lucky that there wasn't a car coming the opposite way...
I woke up, checked my nuts were still there... then did myself a check over.... my bike was rather beaten up, so lifted her up... then my nose sort of blew which I thought was blood. It was clear fluid that was pouring out for what seemed like an age.
Police came and all that... started my bike and rode her home... not sure how actually as peg was missing hear stiff bent strange etc handle bars turning right whilst going straight  :o
When I got home I was knackered so went to sleep...
Turned out I had concussion which was right weird...

Anyway I lived to tell the tale.... but sadly my bike didn't  :o  :(
No way should the police have let you continue on that bike, nor without a medical check up. Knobs.

To be fair Steve, I was trying to act as normal as I possibly could as I didn't want him to have me for speeding... and so I was telling I was fine.
Act as normal as possible? That's difficult enough for you at the best of times, never mind just after coming off a bike. :o

Hey, hey, hey... I have feelings ya know!!!

Clear fluid pouring out of your nose after a knock is a well known sign of concussion.
You could have saved the long description by saying "I ran out of talent half way around a bend.  ;D
Sorry to hear about the bike though, I know you loved the old girl. :'(
What you driving now ?

I did love it. Sentimental value of something you buy that no one else shares with you...
You buy cars, settee, tables you share them with Mrs and children.... and that was just that single item that was purely mine....
I do believe now that the clear fluid was the stuff that protects your brain, and losing to much can have life threatening effects..
So although I do miss my bike, I am a little more glad I am here..

As for another bike Albs.... I think not. Love them until the day I die... but I think that was a big enough warning for me.

As for lack of talent!! I could not agree more  ;D

I still have a hair dressers car that I bought 4 years ago  ;D

All we need now is Mike Dundee and Captain Zok, and it will be back to full mayhem.  :D
Dundee will be pished in a gutter somewhere and Zok will be busy watching his ferrets running round his bollix.  ;D

There is not enough beer in the Country for Mike to even get pissed  :y
