reset eml again (code 0420) !! changed fuel to Total the other day (always fill up at Sainsbury usually) so assuming fuel switch is problem. I do not want to get involved in the sensor repositioning

If I fill at the Sainsbury on Bagshot Road or the one by work in Chertsey I can almost guarantee the light will be on after half a tank to a tank. If I fill at the Shell further along (by the KFC) the light stays off, and has been off for a couple of months now..

That damned eml is back on - I have only one excuse left now and so will refuel at Sainsbury and see what happens just in case I got a dodgy tank of Total a couple of weeks ago.

Try Shell or similar premium fuel rather than supermarket/low volume types.....  ;)

Had this with my daughter's Focus - the condensor had failed at the rivets as exposed by the green gunge they put in

I take it you are as stubborn in dealing with the aircon problem as I am with fixing the EML :-X

So quite the opposite, my determination to fix it is the cause of the constant regassing :P

ECU now connected and talking to MID 8)

Got two new front tyres as old ones were starting to tramline badly due to wear on the outer edges, one had lost about a third of its tread >:( :o, the other only the outer inch or so. Got home a tweaked the camber, 2mm one side and 0.5 ish mm on 'tother. Wheels back on and a quick blat down the road and all well. Wheel straighter than it was, no more wandering under braking and no tramlining. Will playtest in controlled conditions at work tonight, but confident that all good :y
