Following three Omega.

2007 Signum 2.8T.......which is better than the Omega. :y

2015 Jaguar XFR.........which is OK.
Don't be bulling up the sigmund, no one is going to part with the £250 you want for it on here.

WBAC have offered £500....but it is worth more than that to me as a future classic. :)
Yes. There are quite a few future classics knocking around, don't you think?  ;D

In the last 10 minutes I have switched from Saga to the AA for car insurance. New policy £149.02.

Pity the road tax is close to £600. :'(

Ah well......that's the price you pay for owning such a desirable and exclusive car. :)
We are with the AA but pay considerably more than that. But, then again, we don't live in a field.  ;D

Insurance quotes inevitably rise when motorists become old and infirm.

Not much you can do really. :)
There is that. But, what you've got in your favour, the only person likely to try and steal your car is the local scarecrow.  ;D

One or two pigs can drive ' from these parts'....... :)

Didn't you have an expensive Merc of some description for a short while until the thought of the repair bills made you wet yourself and got rid?  ::)  ;D

Since the Omega went I've had :-

1999 BMW 530d E39 Touring
2006 Land Rover Discovery 3
2008 Ford Mondeo 2.2TDCi Titanium X
2004 Volvo V70 2.4D5

All good cars and I still have the Mondeo and the V70. :y

Shame the E39 derv had to be cubed when it was sitting right on the very edge of classic car status and worth  a fortune. :)

Still have my three Omegas, and don't see any point of getting rid of them as I still get that old school pleasure of  driving them. The VXR8 gets the odd weekend airing to a car show and it's pretty mental to drive. But I still prefer the Omegas to poodle around in,maybe its possibly a better the devil you know than someone elses old crap thing ::)

I bought a very low mileage W210 E430 Mercedes after I sold the Omega, just wanted a V8 after having several 6 cylinder cars, not disappointed at all & have had no problems with the old Merc now covered just over 40,000 miles
