The alarm is not activated with the remote control
« on: 25 November 2014, 19:33:02 »

For a week I can not activate the alarm of my Opel Omega 2.5 TD 1996 with the remote control. But with the key inserted in the lock of the door the alarm orks regularly. The red LED indicates that the passenger alarm operation before flashing regularly for about ten seconds ago flsh very close together. What could be the cause? It can repair yourself, or further assistance, please contact the Opel.
Sorry for my English is not accurate.

If its an RF type (if its a 1996 car, as opposed to a 1995 car), try the resync procedure as described in the glovebox manual :y

The remote control is of the RF is the red LED that the green LED does not light up in a good manner, resynchronization is the operation that gets when you replace the battery with a new one? I am in possession of the instruction manual.

If the fob LED doesn't light up properly, check that the battery holder in the fob hasn't come apart, and that the battery itself is good.
