Replaced the driver's door actuator on the TD with the refurbished one which has a new DB2 m/s from Farnell. (Thanks Moggy). Lock now works fine, however I am annoyed as the removed unit had been fitted only a year ago with a new RS m/s, which must have failed. >:( >:( >:(

Changed the oil, filter, air and pollen filters on the TD. I used the electric pump I ordered from Amazon yesterday which arrived today, and took it out via dipstick tube due issues with the sump plug. While not the perfect way to take the oil out, it took out 5.75 L when reading at the low dipstick mark. Its doing well, its had three oil changes this year in 5000 miles. ???  ::)

I find Joffs post extremely disturbing as to the fact that he left the keys to his Irmy some where that SWMBO(now at all times) found them and actually drove it AND made the car dirty, this must constitute at the least gross negligence on his part and therefore he will have to be drummed out of the regiment......naughty boy!!  ;D :y
