My battery is draining at about 0.2amp.  I've been through all the fuses and it was the second to last one I tested, a large 30amp in the auxillary fuse box in the engine bay.  Seems to be associated with the central locking and probably qutie a few other things. It is the pulled one with the arrow pointing to it here

Anyone know what the drain is likely to be and where to check next.  I have checked every fuse in the car that I know of, none were draining except this one. I waited half an hour  for it to settle down.

Is your power sounder still fitted/connected, if so disconnect and remove it.

Also be aware that on 2001 model years onwards that the rear cig lighter becomes an aux power port and is switched by a power relay, this remains on for some time (cant remember quite how long but 30-60 mins rings a bell)

exactly the same issue as mine. ive pulled every fuse in the box in the car that runs from that large fuse and the drain is still there. so its something from the large fuse to inside the car.

yes my powersounder is still there, is that definitely on that fuse?  I assume the 12V battery is trying to recharge the NiMH batteries in the sounder and they are knackered and just draining the 12V. 

I see there is a guide to removing the sounder but can I not just snip a wire instead?

Just unplug it .... no need for snips

Let me save you some bother, it's not the power sounder.  I've just removed mine and the drain is still there.  Definitely that fuse and .2 to .3 amps after everything has settled down.

There must be somewhere  a description of what that fuse protects I can't find one and the wiring diagrams do not help. Removing the fuse diasables the locking so that is on it, maybe a door sensor is faulty?

I was thinking rather of simply being able to cut the supply to the power sounder, without having to remove it.  I have removed it now anyway.

hang on just checked and the drain was down to about 0.1amp.  don't know if that is the sounder removal or not, and iots aty the limit of my meter resolution. I had previosuly waited about 45 mins.  I've now taken out the battery to fully recharge it, will find out in a week and a half if that has fixed it as the car will be unused for 7 days (which is why I'm trying to sort it).
