I'm not the biggest fan of taxi drivers either mate, after one ran into the back of my stationary car...."Sorry, I was on my radio"        "Did you have your eyes shut too?" ;D

In all honesty, my insurance is not too bad, it came down from £1500 tpo to £800-odds fully comp after my first year 8-)

I can only guess at the response from an Insurance co. for an 18 year old trying to get group 16/17 insurance  :o

Why is the Omega such a high group car?, only reason I can see is risk of theft, but what carpet-slippered wearing scrote would nick an Omega?
1.7 tons of car capable of in excess of 150+ could do as much damage as a scud missile in the wrong hands

That's pretty much what the bloke on the end of the phone said to me when I tried to insure my first 2.0 Cortina at the age of 19!!

He quoted me £1850 to insure a £350 car TPF&T!

It's a shame really!!

Education is the answer to reduce accidents, but the government doesn't seem to recognise that, they'd rather put speed cameras up instead!!

Tossers!!!  >:(

its always been the same, insurance costs more than the car first time round. And then they wonder why theres so many people without insurance - NOT that i am supporting this act, but you can kind of see a correlation..
