Hi from Huddersfield
« on: 31 October 2016, 18:04:46 »

After losing the engine on my diesel Jaguar, I found myself in need of a big auto car.

I was lucky enough to find a really nice 2.2 auto sport saloon.

I'm hoping to get a good few years out of it and then pass on to my wife!

Welcome.

If you are prepared to do a bit of DIY on them, they can be really cheap to run, and have a comfort way beyond what you should reasonably expect for what you paid :y

Welcome to OOF mate - glad to see you took my advice  :y

Tech knowhow on this site is very good, and people generally are helpful.

As for going in the future for the V6 X350, I had no major issues with mine over the years I had it, and got same in p/ex as I paid for it  ;)

Cheers dbug, this is why I like forums, plenty of good advice. Just cleaned out the throttle body and the car seems a little quicker and smoother. Early days yet but looks like I haven't bought a lemon!
