Dealership logo removal.

Hi, the 2.2 has  a black dealership letter transfer type logo on the tailgate, what is the best way to remove this please ?

Thin and sharp knife to remove the majority, then nail polish remover to deal with any residue.

If it leaves any glue residue, I have found lighter fluid (refined patrol) to also do the trick without damaging the paint.

Don't know, but mind you it was handy when I first saw it on the bay for sale, contacted the dealer before bidding & the service manager told me that they supplied the car from new & that the owner was a very fussy man & the car had to be just right , came with every  bill from  new & is totally immaculate.
