"tick" to watch.

Do remember that if you have a (MID) SatNav and computer screen display, I believe that will always be amber, even if it is a colour screen like mine the text will be orange.

I thin this is limited to "dark" & "light", I don't think that you can configure it to be blue text. :(

No it hasn't got back lights, it is essentially a LCD TV screen.

I was under the impression you could use anything from the colour range, TB will know for sure.

That'd be good to know at least.

BTW Kelv, are you going to do all the lights in the door switches and rear heated seat switches too?

Trouble with the blue LEDs, apart from looking gay, is LEDs are suitable for indication, not illumination.  And they have a narrow output beam. Add to this that blues are all ultrabrights.

So, you end up with very bright, distracting indicator lights, and poorly backlit stuff.  MID in particular is difficult to read during day.

As to CID, obviously its backlit with CCT, rather than bulbs, and colours down with filters.  Colour changing only available by software, and Tech2 only allows 2 settings - and unusable one, and the one you have.

Actually I think the gay thing was started by the Police to put lorry drivers off from having blue lights in their cabs.

OK then anyone like blue light washer jets?

What part of that looks gay?

I saw a top of the range Rover 75 old man's car all with wood and leather inside and the "Jules Verne 20,000 leagues dashboard" and it had blue LED washer jets. Whilst I agree that their chavvy and are genreally found on souped up Saxo's, they were definitely in the wrong place on that car.

Put in gay Blue backlights.

It will never be as 'good' as the gay VW ones, as they were designed that way, unlike the Omegas...
