Nope.....if you said a temp of 38degC I would.

Same as I know that 28degC or above is bloody hot

Fahrenheit means absolutely diddly squat to me!

The only imperial measurements I can visualise is feet and inches (although I always use meters and mm's).....cant realy get my head round how far a mile is (and dont knwo how many yards it is!)

Half a litre of Carlsberg/etc etc doesn't really have the same ring to it as 'A pint of ...... please'

A litre sounds far more appealing.......but not of euro fizz thanks.

Just because I ahev something that tells me how many miles I have traveled, does not mean I can appreciate how far it is.....I can appreciate ho far 1Km is, mainly becasue we were made to run 1km as part of school sports day but...I can also picture 1000m's!

Same for weight....I know Kilos and grams, pounds and ounces are alien tome.

The UK must have some kind of fondness for a lot of the imperial weights & measures - as daft as some of them are. The powers that be have been trying to convert us for the last 35 years.
My kids are unsure of which units are which ie what are Imperial & what are metric.
