dug out the invoice...

bought July 07 from Autobulbsdirect off ebay..

http://shop.ebay.co.uk/merchant/autobulbsdirect_W0QQ_in_kwZ1

or

http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk

now about £15 more a pair delivered than I paid.

Thanks Jimbob!

Anybody for a Yard of ale?

I'd love to see the reaction at any stables if you asked what the metric height of any of their horses are!!!

Everybody loves a smart arse!  ;)
But when you take your kids temp & your Mrs asks what it is, you don't normally state the units it's being measured in ...... :y just the number! I do anyway.

& I don't measure in Kelvin ....  ;)  ;)

I think metric system is more practical for calculations as its always in powers of 10..

In university I used English units as most of the books are either English or American origin. But conversion and calculations are not very practical IMHO..

As for the HID..I used 6000 K and I'm really pleased with it..

ps :the only thing that disturbs me  is the price of philips bulbs as I dont know what time they will need replacing they say thousands of hours  :o

From the posts that I have read 8 years of dark UK winters seems to be the average life. When the fail, they stop 'striking' like an old  flourescent tube.

Cem - do you have to use yours in the daytime? (Lots of cars in your pictures have lights on)

Yeah, and both my cars as well.  Though saying that, not sure they are as good as they once where, whether due to bulb or lens, I guess only one way to find out...
