Yep, probably would.  I'm happy to be hands on and strip out bagpipes, plenum, SAI etc etc .  Can be down there on the friday evening for an early start on the Saturday but that will need a rethink as to someplace to kip...

Bruce, you cna always kip at mine if need be.......Its just over an hours drive to Telford from my place. Like wise, if you did want to get the plane then I could collect from EMA.

awaiting an update on that score from Timbuck, the chap who owns the unit, once the health of a family member is resolved.

Last I spoke with him however, tending towards unlikely.....

Ok no probs. Just thinking about driving up on the Friday stopping over but couldn't afford the two nights so kipping in the car wouldn't be a problem. But will wait for confirmation when Timbuk gets back from Family emergency.

Not knowing the area at all, is there a field nearby that we could persuade a farmer to let some canvas/mobile sheds be used .. most farmers are happy to take a few beer tokens on the side to let a field be used .... :).

This would allow cheap overnighting and avoid any "drink driving" problems on the Saturday night ?

mmm probably a no then  :(

but Shifnal on autoroute doesn't look that big a town, perhaps somewhere on the outskirts ??

I'm just thinking if everyone was in the same place Friday & Saturday nice be one hell of a p***up social chat ... :), at the moment it looks like it will get a tad fragmented :(

And I'm still working at trying to get the weekend off ..... :(
