On the upside, Tesco Pay at Pump is now £120 :y
Indeed. When fuel was at its highest price, £100 wasn't much more than 1/2 a tank on the ML (93 litre tank so when I'd wanted a full tank I tried a 2nd fill at the same pump .... it wouldn't let me.
I did email Tesco to ask them when they were going to raise the limit in line with Costco. I just got a standard automated reply.

Just used one of their new touch screen fuel pumps.
Am I imagining it or ... on the old pumps if you just put your debit/credit card in, that the machine just registered the fact that you were going to pay at the pump or did you HAVE to choose pay cashier or pay at pump.

Woman cashier said you had to choose  ..... I said you didn't  :-\ :-\  ::)

It is indeed fun, in a slow motion kind of way. Get up to speed and dont slow down for anything is the way to drive it.  :)
That's how I drive my Fortwo Smart  ;D

Surprised at the level of anger at the 20mph limit. Just shows that they live in a different world from the rest of us .....

It's NOT the 10th till Sunday  :)
unless you mean another PREVIOUS month or year   >:D
Those were the good ol' days, when you'd get it MOT'd only so you could buy the tax from the PO....

It was only when I tried to tax it (on the 1st March) that I realised it had ran out  :-[

Taxed & tested.
The MOT cert now has This vehicle has an outstanding recall ..... contact MB to arrange a free repair across the print off.  ??? I know it has ..... MB want to install their ''upgraded'' software on it  ::)
Vauxhall wanted to 'update' the software on my astra. They wrote to me, but it hasn't appeared on MOT certificates or the online MOT check.
MB want to update the software as a recall due to the emissions debacle

There are quite few Lancashire, and Yorkshire towns that would be much better if they didn't exist at all.

Omega General Help / Re: Timing belt kit question
« on: 02 March 2024, 19:42:38 »
Of course it can, as plenty of people do.

But it's much simpler to do than the V6 and the tools for doing it correctly are so cheap, it's hard to understand why you'd even consider doing it without.

'Ticker' at a local garage was adamant that he could do a V6 timing belt without a locking kit ..... he used a pair of mole/vice grips on each pair of cam sprockets!  ::)
Fortunately he never did my cam belt!  ;D
