Welland Steam & Country Rally 2013
« on: 03 March 2013, 21:42:56 »

Look no further than http://www.wellandsteamrally.co.uk/ for a fantastic short break in the shadow of the beautiful Malvern Hills at our 49th annual event.

Picture borrowed from a friendly Admin!

Our Public Campsite is strictly pre-bookable:
Campers are free to arrive from 9am on Wednesday 24 July, and stay-over free of charge on the night of Sunday 28 July after the show. The campsite must be vacated by noon on Monday 29 July.

Each year sees around 1000 camping units on-site, and although we can't supply electric hook-ups, we have mains water, chemical toilet disposal tanks, portaloos, rubbish skips, a large disabled camping area, as well as a campsite shop and 24-hour security.
There's also a Farmers Market and caterers galore on the showground itself.

The event will be sign-posted from Jct 1 and Jct 2 of the M50 motorway.
SatNav for Day Visitors: WR13 6NG
SatNav for Campers: WR13 6LW

Why not join our 15000 visitors?
......... with great company and around 1000 working exhibits!

Thanks for volunteering to do the 'early shift' dear boy ... am supremely confident that you'll cope admirably with the arrivals 'til Simon and I sleep-off the after-effects of the previous evening awaken from our slumbers.

Will leave my quad-bike keys in your abode ... have always said that you were a good egg!

Seems like Ian has a plan....

A cunning plan ;D

Ne'er mind aboot Tamworth's plan ... records show that yer 'competency' on my quad-bike's now expired ...
Seems that a 're-assessment' will be required ... best get yer head into the rule book pronto! ;D

... and whilst you two've been gettin' addicted enjoying the delights of that Bruadar tipple over the ensuing months, this scribe's been evaluating our manning level on Bravo field. Outcome is that we could ideally do with another pair of hands, just like we had at the 2011 event from this all-round good guy very helpful Admin:

Think that those present got duped taken-in by that convincing Hampshire smile ...  :o

... aye ... and he had it away on his toes a bit sharpish after becoming 'involved' with Mrs Seth's BBQ.
Wonder if he'll report for duty show-up this year? :-\

My trailer tent has had some work done - now £400 lighter,

but I didn't realise that TFS had purchased Seths old caravan - the deal included delivery by the look of it!!  ;D ;D ;D

Yep, Zok transport services in action. "Leave it to us, we never "drop one"". :D

Something doesn't add up, though. Is that the Captain doing manual labour? Where's the Gnome? :-\

Poor lad's probably winding-up the crane jib, whilst the Captain's ... err ... 'supervising'

Confirmation of Zok Transport Services in action:

Looks like young Tony's been clobbered with lowering the landing legs! :o

Just giving this a little nudge ...

As usual, our public campsite's now filling up pretty fast.
Anyone else fancy a great few days away in the shadow of the Malvern Hills? 8)

Initially, just drop me a PM ... before we close da camping bookings on 1 July ;)

Our public campsite's now full, all exhibitor sections are full and the hay/silage crop's been harvested in readiness for our first arrivals on Wednesday 24 July.

So it's 'day visitors' only from here on in! 8)
