Having said this  the Mexican is not helped by being a 'fat bastard' at around 1700KG......a decent 2 door coupe of yesteryear, like a 3 litre Capri, weighed in at around 1000 KG. ???

Crash protection weighs heavy  ;)

Well I am warm and okay!! My back is still giving me grief, wear and tear after 50 years on the spanners. It takes longer for recovery now I am 68.

Tell me about it ..... & I'm only nearly 62.  ??? Mauling about at work yesterday with  1.5"(ish) pitch triplex chain & its associated sprockets .... you could hardly lift each of them on their own. All outside in the pi55ing rain & wind, 15' up in the air on a scaffold platform ..... can't wait to go back to work in the new year to finish it off!  :-X :-X

Moral of the story, if your back hurts, go straight to a chiropractor  :y

My back has hurt on & off for the past 30 odd years .... what's a chiropractor?  ;)

Well, eventually came out of St Thomas Hospital London, with 7 stents pushed up into the arteries around the heart.  So, apart from taking it easy, that is me fixed! :y :y ....

Glad you're on the mend!  :y :y

Well if it's space you need...  8)

 .....

Why would a company that prides itself on making vehicles that tow things fit their tow car out with something that looks like it was fab'd up from a scrap metal skip?
I know that there's more than 1 maker of towbars

5% still have some dignity.  I like to think I'm in that 5% on both (and other) platforms.

I'm quite happy with my SKY+ box, but they keep contacting me to 'upgrade' to SKY Q

I was, but after hearing the benefits, I changed to Sky Q

Can record 3 channels at the same time  - so they told me.
Search facillies are better. etc.

If you lose the remote you can press a button on the box and the remote will buzz.  (used that facility a few times)

A lot better box all round. :y

It never belongs to us as the old boxes did.
Cant use the old box as a 2nd unit  so I was told.

I got it dor £20 a month so no complaints from me. :y
I have trouble finding one channel that's worth watching, never mind recording.
Search facilities? Easy, even on sky+ box
I don't lose my remote and, if I do, I have two more  ;D

I gave up on having use of the remote years back .....

it's either on the couch next to her or stuffed down the cushion next to her.  :-X

There aren't many people of a certain age who haven't had a Rover at some stage of their life.

I've never had a Rover or wanted a more recent Rover & am probably around your threshold 'certain age'  :) .....

the only Rover I'd consider would be a P5b Coupe  ;)
You're one of the 'aren't many' then.
;D

I was a bit of a boozer in my youth, but rarely drink these days unless I go out. ::)

Can't cope with the hangovers any more.  :-X

So you now just go out 30 times a month ....  ::)
