Selling A Car In Covid Times
« on: 07 July 2020, 13:55:34 »

My friend has asked me to help sell his 90 year old mothers Renault C.l.i.o. and I'm happy to help if I can.  :y

But what do you guys think about selling a car and social distancing, as I'm not sure I fancy getting in a car with a stranger for a test drive at the moment.  :-\

I was thinking along the lines of agreeing the price, taking the cash and letting them take the car for a test drive on the understanding that if they bring it back in the same condition and with less than 5 miles on the clock, but they don't want it for whatever reason, they can have their cash back.  :-\

There are all sorts of snags and pitfalls with that though...  ::)

Maybe I should just man up and get on with it!  :)

A mask and some antibac juice will suffice...

I would be more concered about the smell of wee, boiled sweets and Olay hand cream :D

Yes, my Great Aunt loved that and used it all the time until she died at 95 years in 1990. :D ;)

Just sold the camper van, but with the size of that, distancing was not a problem as we can be at a yard apart now. Proper measurements as we are not part of Euroland anymore :y
