replaced the wiper blades on Mrs Builder's astra estate ,great design  :)
cleaned the inside of her windows too ,put some air in the tyres (TPMS was bleeping  ;D ) and topped up the screen wash with a strong mix as it's meant to drop to 170 degrees Kelvin soon  ::)  #iceage

tried topping up my screenwash ,got about 3 liters in and ran out of fluid  :(
how much does it hold  :-\   :o
Edit*

the Haynes joke book says 6.4 L of screenwash  :o
probably why I have never ran out ,or topped it up since I owned it  ;D :D

Get through the lot in a week or two this time of year, mind you HID's are useless unless clean and spray and salt is the norm for the next few months.

Changed OS catalytic converter in the gutter and re-sealed the scuttle yesterday, in the dark, ruddy cold last night. Back and fingers still aching. Just the rear springs to change and that's me done for car work until the spring, sod it, had enough for one year!  :y

Picked Zeke up from my tame welding wizard. Both arches chopped and replaced - he doesn't recommend the eBay arch panels though, apparently although they looked OK, none of the swages or folds were in the right place...

Now to ask/ beg/ threaten the guy who painted MrsGK's GTI, to get a decent price...!

Came back tonight to find an "Inconsiderate parking" notice on it, apparently from Solihull MBC and the plod (both logos added for extra fear factor no doubt).

Apparently my registration number has been noted and if its seen in the same place again action will be taken and I may have to go to court.

Had work to do so left it where it was.

Possibly, although I think they are professional time wasters in this case. The notice was colour, photo quality with a weatherproof plastic finish on both sides.

My council tax pounds hard at work.
