Is that the last thing before it's MOT?

Almost :D

Still need to get it reprogrammed to deal with the ESP/BAS issues. Technically there's an issue with front passenger occupancy sensor, but that doesn't post a sodding great message on the cluster when it's turned on ::)

Do you know a friendly STAR owner, or is it a dealer/indie job?

It's an indy job, and potentially only an hour.

I need to get it booked in, probably at the beginning of July...

Having STAR would be nice, but at around a grand or so for a legitimate set up, it's a luxury rather than an essential ;)

Re-coded the annoying (to me) stop/start on both Audis's so that it remembers the last chosen position. I could have re-coded it to be inverted so that it worked the opposite to standard set-up but this way I get to choose.  :)
I've tried to like it/give it a chance but as it's designed purely for economy and saving the planet, any saving I make is wasted when I launch it off the lights.  ;D

He is, but sometimes it's necessary for 'safety' reasons.  :)

My Omega still has the original taillights "Made in Germany", in great condition. As they are very expensive here and can only be found used, I decided to remove and keep them for safety. The lamp circuits, also original from the factory, were in poor condition after 28 years of use. In a friend's workshop we replaced the original taillights with new ones and the circuits were replaced with new ones.

Dried out the boot of the Mondeo after it seems to have sprung another leak!  >:(

I think the seal has failed where the loom comes out of the body and into the tailgate, so a smear of silicone should sort that.

I swear that this car has feelings, as every time I think about selling it, something goes wrong with it!  :-\
