last couple of days the gear change from 3rd to 4th seems to take a little while any ideas chaps :y

should i need to worry

Do an atf change as a minimum, fairly quickly as well. If you find bits of plastic in front sump, then its a gearbox off job to change the thrust washer.

i have the car booked in nx week for oil/filter and front discs/pads change ill get them to check it over.atf change means nothing to me TheBoy lol.
ok so what price would i be looking at for the gearbox off etc

sorry but your looking around £200 just to take the box on and off. thats without doing anything else to the box.

its harder but cheeper to get a mate to help you remove the box yourself.

sorry for the bad news. but as theboy said ATF change first then go from there.
