Seem to be getting through alot more fuel past couple of week's :'(
As i put in a previous thread, have got a click from the exaust manifold
gaskit, could this be the cause or should i be looking somewhere else :)

If you've got a leak upstream of the Lambda sensor it could be causing the sensor to get fooled and run it too rich, I guess.

You can test your Lambda sensor by checking this state of affairs by using a digital voltmeter across the Lambda sensor. The voltage on a healthy vehicle should vary between 0.2V and 0.8V with 0.2V being no oxygen (too rich) and 0.8V being too much residual oxygen (too lean) thats with a zirconium lambda which yours will have.
A 2.0 liter uses a Titania O2 sensor which is 0v to 5v rather than the zirconium which is 0v to 1v
zirconium sensors work on voltage
Titania Sensors work on ohmic resistance and the resistance is converted to volts.

Ive experienced an increase in fuel consumption too these last few weeks.
I think Ive diagnosed the fault - it was caused by swapping a diesel cavalier for a V6 Omega ;D
Will I go back though? Errr, no.
Good luck with the fault finding... Have the driving patterns changed? Filters etc OK and servicing otherwise OK? Any misfires or fault codes?
