Headlight aim

Can you adjust the beam left or right as my passenger one seems to be aiming to far over to the right.

Yes you can as long as adjusters aren't broken(which may be why its out ) :y

It's usually the up/down adjuster that fails though  :y

There are two Allen key hex drive screws on top, one left/right t'other up/down. It takes a lot of turns to make a difference.  :y

There are hundreds of cars/vans/lorries on the road just now with poorly aimed headlights.  >:(

At least you've recognised it and are doing something about it  :y

A lot of the time bad alignment, is cheapO crap Chinese bulbs, or fitted wrong.

You cant really tell off the wall. Height is fine, manual up and work. I have had time know to do a bit more research. Its looks like it has a ajuster screw. So will take a look tomorrow.

 A lot of the time it is mis fitted replacement lamp that causes the dazzle/aim alignment problem.
Here in Essex, its about 50% of the vehicles on the road, with buses the worst offenders

Oh yes you can

Drive up to the wall and place a mark where the cut off is (there is a point where the left half of the beam angles upwards)

Reverse back a few meters and adjust the aim so it is fractionally below the mark.

This is basically what a beam splitter at the MOT station does, just in a smaller more convenient package
