As I understand it cylinder 2 is the front one on the passenger side[rhd car] I believe it goes[front to rear of engine] 1 3 5 on drivers side and 2 4 6 on passenger side.

Equally, the misfire could also be water in the plug wells as a result of rain water leaking off the scuttle. On my V6's, any misfire, especially diagnosed on cylinders 2 / 4 / 6,  has been caused by water ingress, rather than oil. Plenty of discussion and well documented on here.

Ooo forgot about that, water coming from the scuttle straight into the coil pack,,  I stopped mine by putting a Heath-robinson cover over the coil pack which was bolted to the plenum, never had a problem after that...

If something is described as 'Heath Robinson' then it means home made, to no specific design, other than to do the job intended.  It could be quite well made, of well thought out design with purpose and longevity to the for or it could be anything available to hand, held together by string and hope, as long as it does its job.

In this case, search the help and maintenance guide for scuttle drain and look at the results.

Is the misfire on both petrol and LPG or just LPG ?? (try running with LPG off to check). LPG is "harder" to ignite than petrol so is much more sensitive to problems.

There was a picture somewhere, but I can't find it,, basically I cut a sheet out of a gallon oil can, this put a cover over the coil pack, and was attached by the plenum cover bolt.

'Heath Robinson' just means a quick and dirty one-off solution to a problem, using stuff you have lying about, with no effort put into aesthetics or fit and finish. So named after a series of cartoons depicting outlandishly complicated devices to solve simple problems.

All this job requires is a cover that directs scuttle leaks away from the coil pack.

Fixing any leaks removes ALL need for such a thing, and removing the scuttle foam(quick, easy and free) reduces the problem to almost nothing.
