Their 'hereafter' consists of being eaten with mint sauce. Our 'hereafter' consists of being burned to ashes or eaten by worms.

In that case it'd definitely be a stun gun for me then!  :y  ...... and if I did find myself at the 'Pearly Gates' I'd just have to apologise and I'm sure whichever God was on duty at the time would be OK with that.  :-\  They're supposed to be forgiving and merciful aren't they?  ;)  :y

I think they say a prayer before they cut the throat.  :-\  Not quite the same as stunning the unfortunate creature though.  ::)
A prayer? Why? What has killing an animal got to do with religion? Maybe only to prove what a load of rubbish it really is.

Dunno, maybe to help it along to the hereafter maybe.  :-\  I expect they'd rather be knocked out quickly.  ::)

It has 170k miles now so probably the worst option yes :'( Not quite economical >:(....
Not usually too expensive (here in UK) if you diy.  v6 HG scares me rigid, but a 2.0/2.2 I'd be content to attack I think.

Jaime, I've done one! Lol if that don't give you confidence nowt will  ;D

Anyways, certainly sounds like hg but double check first. And possibly new cam sensor judging by that code.
I've watched DTM do mine. Twice. Still scares the bejesus out of me

If I can manage it TB then I'm sure you'd breeze through it!  ;)  :y

Omega General Help / Re: EUO Emission standards
« on: 02 February 2015, 18:40:14 »
When you're talking the finer points of emissions compliance, a test doesn't verify compliance - only that something basic hasn't gone wrong such as a failed cat or lambda sensor. You probably need a declaration from the manufacturer, hence the OP's question, as strict compliance will have been tested only at the development stage.

Righto. Thanks Kevin.  :y

Does the JEVIC test not include an emissions test that would prove it complies to Euro4 standards?  :-\

The government wont allow, fuel to fall below £1.00, per litre as they will lose millions in tax.

Fuel duty is a constant charge per litre, so it's only the VAT element that's sensitive to the retail price. The government will see it as a good excuse to reinstate the duty escalator (after the election, of course). ::)

Especially if we end up with a Lab/Lib/Green/SNP/Sinn Fein coalition or any combination of....  ::)
And people say STEMO is miserable... ::)

I'm full of the joys of spring this morning Al!  ;D

I can't be arsed with these new fangled ideas.

Exactly what was wrong with walking through the snow to the post office and then finding that you've forgotten your insurance certificate, so you trudge back up the hill in the snow to get it, back down again, fall on your arse when you slip on some ice, into Post Office again only to find that you had last years MOT certificate all along!  ::)  :-[

Fixed again.  :-[  ;D

As mentioned earlier if you're not in a rush stay off the motorways and use the 'A' and 'B' roads.  You'll find some great lunch spots, camp sites and/or local hotels/guest houses.  :y

No wonder the poor sod got lost, the destination sign was flickering so badly that there was no way he could have known where he was going....  ::)  ;D
