I pay £18 a year for a cheap and cheerful, yet comprehensive breakdown cover which includes national recovery.  :y

The downside is that I pay a £40 excess if I call them out and they don't know how to break into an Omega.  ::)  ;D

yes i can recommend them www.rescuemycar.com, prompt and no fuss national recovery.

if you want to break into an omega just type 'how to break into a car' into google for free - 176,000,000 results, uncensored

It was quicker to wait for the spare to arrive than wade through that lot.  ;D

Realised today (Sat) that I've hit a pothole or something during the week as it was pulling to the left on the motorway.  >:(

The tyres are already scrubbing, so better get it realigned sharpish!  ::)  :(

Omega General Help / Re: price enquiry

A good alternative to GM is the Contitech belt kit from bypartsby, which many of us use.  :y  So depending on your engine it's either £97.70 or £105.12.  They also do a QH waterpump for £22, not sure what their like though. I had a Circoli water pump from these guys last year for about the same price.  :)

I can't see why Lord Opti's complaining as the cost of camcover gaskets is loose change to him, unlike us mere mortals....  ::)  ;D
