Was backed up yesterday afternoon as well.

Just think, when they decide to turn it into a managed motorway it'll be running at 40 most of the time regardless of traffic volume just like the M42....

Just think, when they decide to turn it into a managed motorway it'll be running at 40 most of the time regardless of traffic volume just like the M42.... 

Like the M1 for most of my commute home (M25 upward until it runs out of 'managed-ness').. Tuesday night it was 60mph all the way with the shoulder running as a live lane (which mandates the 60mph limit, I believe), meanwhile the traffic was more than light enough to be doing *cough*mph. And it was, until you got to a camera..

Or the bit where we had a 44ton artic in lane 1, being "passed" by a 44ton artic in lane 2 who was being "passed" by a 44ton artic in lane 3, leaving lane 4 for anyone who wanted to go faster - which, naturally, was someone who only wanted to do 61mph due to the posted limit.
