Lazy lummox. To see Omegas you need to get away from that pool. Nice weather this time of year.

I was down in Malaga area yesterday. Whereabouts are you staying?

That kite surfing is cool.

I had breakfast in Alhaurin yesterday before going to my bank. Queued for 18 minutes to find I can only pay my car tax on Tuesdays and Thursdays 8,30 to 10.30 a.m. at a counter. And you can't pay in  less than 1000 euros cash at a counter. The guy said but you can do both outside at the machine. Knock the window when you are at the front of the queue and I will stop serving people and come out and talk you through the process. Just as well as it didn't recognise my car tax bar code and had to be done manually.

Just had a beer and tapas ( chicken thigh , slice of bread with cream cheese) at my local bar. 1,20euros all in.

That's a bit rough making the owner of the bank queue with the peasants!  :o   I bet Lord Opti wouldn't put up with such egalitarian impertinence!  ;D

But lakeside didn't fail, are there any taxi drivers and villains left in Essex. ;D

Tomorrow Gibraltar. :Y

And before that sir triggers ask, yes I did buy a pink ralph Lauren shirt, to blend in, thought they was national dress out this way  ;D

Gibraltar? Very interesting once. I vowed never to go again. Shall be interested in what you thought.

Ah Leroy Merlin. Great store but they have a similar sized "no frills" place near the Malaga airport that does more trade business. Good prices. It is called Brico Mart

PS they also have a Leroy Merlin near the airport as well. :y

Seen any Omegas yet? ;D ;D ;D

Varche, should you not be packing your bags and getting ready to move back to the UK after the Big Vote on the 23rd.

I have been here long enough under the Vienna convention to have "reserved rights". Of course our nice government of the day keeps eroding our expat rights e.g. taking away winter fuel allowance. They have never been here in a cold winter.

Funnily enough I have just signed out of an expat forum where the demographic is well off, well educated upper classes mostly retired (typical Remain voters). I support the leave camp even if it meant I would lose everything here. I just do not get the Remain. Better to change from within. If it was that easy we would have done it already . In fact the EU would have recognised the discontent and adjusted its course accordingly. It would need talented leaders and might be a bit disconcerting for a while but after the first year, Britain would be back on course to be Great again.

If they're with 3 there are no roaming charges, so they can use their mobile with impunity!  :y

Not sure if that applies to Pay As You Go sims, but worth checking out and getting one for the trip if so.  ;)
