Hi all, I'm new to OOF and I'm hoping someone will be able to help me out.  I have been driving an omega for 2 years and have just bought my second one off copart and would love to get in contact with the previous owner just to find out about the engine and a few other nice mods that's on it  I have attached some pictures of it so please have a look and get in touch if you know anything.  Thanks.

Its almost impossible to trace a car based on two photos - although "distinctive" - there are a number of others on here that look just the same (except they have number plates)

Those rear lights look to be from a Catera, so check its got fog lights. If not, (Catera never had them in rear light clusters) illegal for UK

The previous owners address should be on your new V5.

I think I recognise that car - I have seen it round Luton/Dunstable probably around 2 years ago and the owner was a member on here.  I think he got the rear lights shipped to him by one of our USA members.

There will be pics in the gallery - but of course I could be wrong - not many with those rear lights though.

Its a rare car, I've seen it as my mate now owns it. It had a 2.0 turbo engine, I think from a Vxr and it has bigger discs and calipers fitted to the front, not sure What they are off but it would good find out so it would be great to get talking to the previous owner for more info

Thanks everyone for the replies,  . It is an auction car, hence not knowing who owns it as it has no tax book  . Yeah it is a very unique car, the tail lights are definitely fromanother countr and the add on piece to the boot lid. The.drag engine came with it in about 100 pieces in the boot, and we think it was a 2 litre vxr turbo , hence my anxiety to get chatting to the previous owner .

the lights are cut into the existing ones, nice little touch , also leds mounted into the headlights for sidelights

Conor have a look at the member on here "Turbomega", he hasn't been online for 3 years but I am failrly sure this was his car, in one of his posts he does a rundown on the car, it was originally a cdx and has been transormed and modified quite a bit.
