As a tax haven IOM GDP ppp in 2016 was $87381.80, although local businesses will suffer, overall a rich country, compared to mainland UK.

Pish, the financially prepared and the wealthy are not the same thing...

A credit card and overdraft does not an emergency fund make :-X

If this happened in three months time, I wouldn't be at all worried. Fortunately I payed all my remaining debt at the start of February, but hadn't had a chance to get Baby Step 3 done...
