I literally threw the standard headunit away the moment I got the car and installed a Blaupunkt Woodstock DAB52, hanging out of the back of that I have a Blaupunkt Compact Drive unit with either a 1gb or 4gb microdrive in AND I have an aux 3.5mm input lead for my ipod if that wasn't enough....not forgetting that it also plays mp3 cd's too.... ;D
If I had just a basic stereo I'd agree about swapping out.  I have Bose with CD changer, phone, and Sat Nav.  Only thing worth adding is iPod, happy enough with the rest of it that I'm not going to spend a wad of cash replacing it.

I will keep an eye on the Harmon Kardon thing if it does Bluetooth phones though.  Good, but not completely useful to have a built in phone if it is on a separate number.  :-?

Trains may have been invented here, but public transport is a foreign concept!
