General Discussion Area / How much?!
« on: 31 July 2013, 10:10:05 »
Just tried adding my 19 year old onto my trade insurance policy, £4500 and he'd be restricted to drive a 1.6  :o :o. Talk about a joke. This insurance malarkey, it's got to be a very good game to get into.

Probably somewhere like China or Japan knowing how much they like a big car.

A Lexus isn't a bad call actually, they're RWD, nice kit, and cheap, reliable too.

That's nice!  :)

I'm glad that we've been able to provide a small amount of comfort and support to the Lovejoy family in this terrible time.  :'(

:y :y :y :

The amount of newer Omega's you could pick up for £1000 is unreal. The ABS ECU is a common fault and easily rectified, exactly as James said :y.

DMF on my Altea, same engine/box  gave up at 65k ::) similar symptoms iirc :-\

Seems you could well be spot on :(. Clutch started slipping earlier under heavyish throttle, horrible chattering noise after giving it some which got worse when putting the clutch in. Been nursing it back from where I was and it's given no trouble. 'Quality German Engineering'  ::) ;D.

I've read about the injector thing, I think that's what it is, although I still haven't changed the fuel filter. I like it though, nice car  :y.
