For the standard front bumper (non-FL MV6) I do like the FL Catera version with the double size foglights / DRL's. Although, ultimately I prefer the MV6 facelift bumper design to any other.

I did the same as minifreek and polly bushed brand new Lemforders for both of my current ones, to me it was a bit of a no-brainer. If only i'd had the foresight to refurbish the GM ones that came off our four Omega's over the years.  :-X

Keep up the project, looking good.  :y

...seems to be a money-no-object project...

If that were the case, the car would have been up and running a long time ago!  ;D

Slowly bringing my Irmscher MV6 back up to 100%. It was me you had the first set of wheels off. When I get mine back to top condition we will have to have some pics of both the cars side by side.

An MV6-themed photo session sounds good to me! Yeah, I remember buying the wheels. Surprisingly, they haven't seen any road action since I took delivery of them all those years ago ;D Moving into a 250-year-old farm cottage in need of a lot of work resulted in the car being mothballed almost as soon as I bought it. Even so, it still amazes me to think that I managed to get hold of a six-year old Irmscher-kitted MV6 for £500. Fast-forward five years, and it looks like the ol' barge might finally be about to hit the road!  :D

Didn't know they was available for the Omega...

I'll go to Asda, easier to get recovered from there if the Miggy breaks down LOL

Not sure they were Irmscher, they were produced originally for Police spec Vectra's to aid disc cooling, I think Courtenay Sport then reproduced them for the aftermarket.

Okay, let me put you out of your misery! I've modified and installed standard-issue Mk4 Astra GSi brake cooling ducts. These are genuine GM parts. Irmscher and Courtenay Sport sell/sold the exact same components (for use on the Vectra and Astra), but you can buy a pair from your local Vauxhall parts desk for around £20.

It's worth remembering that Courtenay Sport maps and tunes Vauxhalls, but the firm is essentially a reseller when it comes to physical goods e.g. TTV Racing lightweight flywheels, GM brake cooling ducts, Wahler low-temperature thermostats etc. A shiny sticker does not a manufacturer make!

Hmmm... Scratches chin whilst pondering  whether they will be of any use/fit with Monaro brakes :-\

They don't fit Omega wishbones. I had to modify them to suit. You'll probably need to do the same to your own car (assuming that we're talking about fitting them to a Monaro?). Considering the low cost of the parts, it's worth a bash.

I tried to fit the Vectra 2.6 GSi brake ducts to my Omega wishbones but they just wouldn't fit without modification....

Wish I hadn't sold the buggers now LOL

I also had the Saab rear aero ducts fitted to the rear suspension arms too, dunno if they did anything but I had bragging rights with them fitted....

I still have the underbody Irmscher Aero package for the Ph2 Vectra GSi (Facelift), might see if they will fit with the Irmy bumper on the Miggy without much modifications... they're supposed to give another 2MPH top-end LOL

Might see if i can get hold of a pair of these type brake ducts, as they look bigger than the Vectra items TBH...
