That Omega has been advertised for a while, I think it was nearer 4 grand initially

There is allegedly a lost video somewhere of Blackburn Buccaneers buzzing the yank's who were trying and, massively failing, to track them on one of the Red Flag exercises , the yanks were scared shitless by it and couldn't believe how low the Brit pilots could get them.

We were driving through Derby town center some years ago in my wife's uncles funeral cortege, Silver Rolls Royce's by the way  :o

I was watching the people on the busy street as we went by and was surprised by the almost complete lack of acknowledgement, the only person to remove a hat and bow head was a desperate looking homeless woman sitting in a doorway.

Looking for something for Mrs O currently, looks like it's going to be a Seat Ateca 2.0 tdi and possibly the 4wd version. We had a 1.0 petrol one on lease a few years back which was great but I don't trust the longevity of the little 3 cylinder turbo engines.

Watched and bid on this today - but in the end went for £3,600 plus 15% prem.

Not a bad price I suppose - nice car for a future keep

£4140, highest price I've seen an Omega go for in years
