So, let me see. You were searching for parts for your Omega and "came across" these sites "by mistake"?

 ;)

And the dreaded "slower than tape" 1541 floppy drive (shudder!).

My new PC at work has a SATA drive and no floppy. Does this mean I can't re-install XP without this aggro? (actually I'd hope the OEM copy of XP includes the drivers).

I think it's rather shocking that an OS comes without the capability to access any storage media invented after the 1980's.

Do you think we could put the driver on a cassette and load it through the sound card? Or maybe it supports punch tape?

 ;D

so let us spend money on developing those new clean technologies instead of pouring millions, if not billions, into a futile scam.

Some hope of that happening with physicists having their projects cancelled left, right and centre at the moment.

It's plain to see that, assuming man made "climate change" is a problem, we have a choice of reducing emissions by going back to live in the trees, reducing emissions by finding cleaner ways to do the things we currently do or carrying on regardless.

Interesting...

Can it watch the fuel trim values? Might be useful for tuning LPG conversions too :y

Oh, agreed. Definately worth having as they can get you out of trouble and will probably cost less than a single Tech 2 session at a main dealer. Just don't expect too much from the software.

Looks like the standard "chepo tech2". The software is really poor and mostly in hungarian language. They can get you out of trouble if you need to read the codes, and will attempt to read most systems in the car but won't do much more than that and can be difficult to get working. They need a laptop with a real serial port (USB adaptors won't work).

From mine, opposite locking a Mini on roundabouts certainly was not.....

I had a similar experience at the Goodwood festival of speed one year. Torrential rain and the field I'd parked in was a quagmire. Chap in a lovely old vintage RAC landy offered me a tow and proceeded down the field, through the gate and up the other side of the fence. He had plenty of grip to get through the gate and had the luxury of not having to negotiate it sideways! I don't know how I managed to get a Rover 214 sideways through a 5 bar gate without ripping either bumper off, but somehow I did!

DO NOT UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES BUY DOMESTIC APPLIANCES AS GIFTS
::) ::)

Mrs. KW saw the foot spas in John Lewis the other day and informed me that if I ever buy her one she's off. So, that's my exit strategy sorted should I ever need it. ;D

I agree in the most part, but as an engineer I find that someone marketing themselves on the fact that they employ trial and error as a development methodology grates a little bit.

I don't think the end result is as revolutionary as claimed. Like every other "hoover" :P it does the job but has its' flaws.
