Schoolboy games of who can piss the highest up a wall are but a very distant memory

Last time I was in Aberdeen (1977) I went out for a drink with my Nan and her neighber to thier usual Friday night venue that was/is a converted light house.

I was on lager they were drinking Barley Wine (Not sure if it was callad Gold Label) but appartently its quite strong.

So kicking out time we set off walking home, theres me all over the place and the ladies no where worse for drink of 12 Barley Wines each.  We were surrounded by ply wood walls as the area was being develped.

All of a sudden I needed to pee, my Nan said go for it as she had seen it all before.

So ther there I am writeing my name in 2 foot tall letters in the middle of the road with my back to them.  My Nan nips into her handbag, whips out the camera, takes a flipping picture of me in action.

I am 6 foot tall and the "Golden" highlights look like I was aiming 2 feet above my head and 6 feet in front of.

I asked my Nan why she took the piture.  All she said was it was for Bragging Rights :y

I pay full whack for Prime and, in my opinion, it's well worth it. I get about three free next day deliveries a week and I make good use of Prime Video.
Handmaids Tale takes some getting through, 5 seasons of it.

I cant complain, opted out a few times

You need to see their small print before you buy, because many of them have a very different idea of what constitutes a breakdown, recovery, potential repair, nearby garage or even just answering your phone call than you do. The less you pay p/a, the bigger that difference is. You can get an example of the actual service provided by the cheaper firms by smashing your head against the roughest brick wall you can find until you can't feel the pain.

I totally agree, the reasoning is to get the AA to drop renewal costs, they will favour a new customer price wise rather than respect people who have stayed with them for years.

All companies are the same, Broaband, Sky etc

Pissed my self off completely today, got up to answer the door and lost the Sky Q remote.

Looked every where for it, then after an hour or so I rememberd there was a button on the Sky box to buzz the remote. :y

Problem solved but didn't help the stress levels.

That's got scammy mackerel smeared all over it :-\

I thought that, I looked at the senders address and that just Amazon.co.uk  so either way I gain £20 or lose nothing I haven't already.
Hover over the sender's email address and it will show you who actually sent it.

And as for lose nothing, they already have your account details  :-X

Biggest scammers are/were the ones that aquire our Paypal details and recent scams have been "We tried to deliver your package" by so called couriers, Fortuneately most supply tracking details so problem easly worked out.

Getting interesting.

AA have phoned me back 4 times so far and I seem to have missed all the calls. :-[

I like thier garage cover, so as the 1st call there was no soloution on price they offed to match the same price and add the garage cover on.

So still looking at alternatives  (and there are many to choose from)

For covering myself rather than the car that starts at £39.99 with Nova Direct and about £7 if its the car cover option, (Compare the market)

   Nationwide Cover
   Onward Travel
   Home Start
   Misfuelling Cover

Guessing Onward Travel not the same as Relay

Did a quote (With Relay) with AA £258  and £200 without. (National Recovery

Garage cover adds £130/140

If we can’t find a fix at the roadside we’ll take you, your passengers and vehicle to any UK mainland destination.)

Autonational.co.uk

Loss of keys cover
Misfuelling covet
Personal cover
Callouts (Unlimiteed)

£78.54 All the above.

£68.54 no personal cover

£60.69 no homestart / no personal cover.

Be  interesting to see how the AA compare when they ring back. :y
