had great interest in cockyt1,s thread,as certain things pertain to me. my question is - can i just drain the fuel filter via drain plug ,remove top banjo bolt and fill with d m . the fuel filter has only been on two weeks. my tractor has no probs in hot or cold starting, but 64 is showing. peizo lead may be at fault as suggested on cockyt1 thread,as apart from eml light and a moments lack of power (only occasionly) the tractor runs ok. Ps, its been like this for a long time. :-/

thanks i,ll check the hose (hopefully Ian D will point me in the right direction ) when i find out which hose it is.

looking into the engine bay from the front . plastic with "turbo diesel" on passenger side there is a short large bore pipe going into a unit with a couple of small tubes coming from it - (a)what is it,& whats its purpose. (b)why is there oil coming from the pipe where it meets the plastic.

noticed today oil all over the front of my engine. if i,m right in saying that thingimijig on the front of my engine with a large bore short pipe is the egr unit, then the oil appears to be from the front thats attatched to the plastic. can anybody suggest why there may be oil in that area - Cheers

had work done and the cover underneath the engine was removed hardly any of the bolts were replaced . its flapping about . any body know what size the bolts are. cheers

Omega General Help / starting problem - fingers crossed solved

yesterday before attempting to start i poked about in the relay boxes .i noticed in the smaller of the two boxes there are some fuses marked 80 . two appearred to be slightly protruding so i pushed them in . i,ve had no trouble starting from cold since . the fuses in question have red (thickish) wires to them.
does anybody know if ive accidently may have solved my start from cold problem . THANKS
